We're moving into the last week of Urban Art Binge's first sketching intensive for 2013. Can I tell you, it has been WONDERFUL. It is usually towards the end of these workshop blocks that the eyes really begin to open and let the magic in. Though I must say, that with this group, those magic moments have been arriving consistently since week 1. Using drawing as a way of engaging with the world is a very powerful and emotional way to move through life & I absolutely love sharing this passion of mine. Please enjoy the following drawings from the Brunswick Street & Chinatown Malls in Fortitude Valley last Saturday. The focus was on panorama sketching. We have seen various takes on the classical panorama amongst the group and also flirted with a de-constructed/ fractured pano as a means of capturing moments. YUMMY! See us in the City Botanic Gardens this Saturday from 9am-1pm. If you'll be in the area and would like to come and say hello, you're more than welcome! Emily Fong
